Reclaim Your City 24.11. - 9.12.

Yesterday was the first day of the RYC Project. It was a very nice evening in the Gängeviertel, we had a meet and greet with the other artists. Saturday 24.11. will be the vernissage and a lot of party.

You got to be there, artists from all over germany will be represented.

Show Opening "geteert und gefedert/getagt und gefiedert"

Impressions from yesterdays opening of my first show "geteert und gefedert/getagt und gefiedert" in the affenfaust on St Pauli. When the guests arrived to the gallery, the doors where closed. They where only able to look through the window. And what they saw was my way of seeing my duck. How it began. The current show with paintings and fresh stuff is running from now until 23.11.12 
On 23.11.12 at 18h will be the closing event. Musik, beer and nice people talking about art.

Duckfame "geteert und gefedert / getagt und gefiedert"

First solo exhibition by Duckfame in the Affenfaust on St. Pauli. Name of the exhibit will be "geteert und gefedert / getagt und gefiedert" - tarred and feathered / tagged and plumed.
There will be a secret performance at the vernissage.

 Anas platyrhynchos oder im allgemeinen Sprachgebrauch besser als Ente bekannt. Am heutigen Tag stehen wir im Sternzeichen unseres gefiederten Freundes, wir befinden uns im Ent(e)zeitszenario. In unseren jungen Jahren wurden wir von Helden jener Gattung begleitet. Sie hießen Duffy, Donald oder Darkwing, aber wie der Lauf der Dinge so ist löst eine jüngere, hungrigere und motiviertere Generation die alten Veteranen ab. Die Entenikone unserer Zeit trägt den Namen DUCKFAME ganz im Sinne von getagt und gefiedert führt er den Entenstammbaum ins urbane Gelände. Diese Ente ist paarungswillig in bunter Vielfalt anzutreffen. Provokant, zügellos und illegal fügt sich dieses Tier in das Hamburger Stadtbild ein. Von Vielen geliebt von Anderen gehasst sorgt der Vogel für Gesprächsstoff. Am 9.11. wird ein Festbraten serviert! Duckfame bittet zu Tisch und stellt aus. Stattfinden wird das Festessen in der Affenfaust Galerie in der Detlev Bremer Straße 15 auf St. Pauli. Ente gut - alles gut?
